  11. QSO is a contest logging program designed to assist both the
  12. seasoned contester and the new contester in logging contacts for
  13. the Virginia QSO party held in the spring of each year. This
  14. software was written by WA4ZAJ with contest input from NJ4F. QSO
  15. was written using Clipper Version 5.01a and linked using Blinker
  16. Version 2.01. The file structures provided with this
  17. documentation are of the standard DBase format, however, the
  18. index files are Clipper specific format. Do not attempt to modify
  19. the database files with any version of DBase or any other program
  20. that reads and writes DBase files.

  67. LICENSE AGREEMENT
  68.  
  69. QSO is provided as shareware to any person wanting to operate the
  70. Virginia QSO Party. The cost of this  software is $5.00. This
  71. pricing is only to allow the developers the ability to recapture
  72. some of the cost associated with the purchase of diskette,
  73. mailings, and documentation reproduction. If you purchase this
  74. software from a hamfest, Ham Radio store or by mail, the cost
  75. will be $5.00

  77. If you receive this software from another source (BBS, another
  78. HAM), you are requested to send $2.00 to the developers of the
  79. software.

  81. This license is valid until July 1, 1994. After that date the
  82. software will no longer work. This was done to insure that the
  83. software would be current each year with the changes made in the
  84. contest.

  86. Should you receive a copy of the software for the 1994 contest
  87. and wish to use it for the 1995 contest,  you should reorder the
  88. software after November 1, 1995.

  90. This software was developed without the assistance of the contest
  91. committee, however, after numerous conversations with the contest
  92. director, modifications have been made to insure consistency with
  93. the 1994 Virginia QSO Party Rules and Regulations. If you need a
  94. official copy of the rules and regulations, please send the
  95. contest director a request for the official rules with a SASE.
